To avoid delays in claim repricing, submit claims electronically. More than 95 percent of claims that are repriced at Midlands Choice are submitted electronically. Because of the efficiencies of electronic processing, 94 percent of those claims are repriced and forwarded to the payer on the same day they are received.
With the exception of claims that include attachments which must be submitted on paper, the most efficient way to submit claims is electronically. Once claims have been successfully submitted users who have registered for and been approved to receive exclusive access to the secured features on MidlandsChoice.com can view the status of claims submitted to Midlands Choice, view and print copies of repricing face sheets, and find out how to contact payers.
