Avera Health Plans has published an article regarding updates to their recent migration to a new claim system, HealthRules Payor. Avera Health Plans has communicated that they are experiencing unanticipated delays with claims payment due to programming issues.
Avera Health Plans encourages all providers to register for their new portal to view claim status. Since the portal is new as of May 14, 2022, new registration is required for all previous users. Use this link to register for the portal. If a claim has not been received, Avera recommends resubmitting the claim.
