Bright Health recently hired CAQH to contact their in-network providers to validate their directory data. There are several key purposes for these contacts, however providers will not be contacted for the purpose of credentialing.  

CAQH data is leveraged on providers contracted as in-network with Bright Health with the intent to:

• Meet a CMS regulatory requirement to verify demographic provider data and enhance their Bright Health-owned provider data set.
• Enrich Bright Health provider data with the following inclusions from CAQH: spoken languages, provider location, billing data, and others.
