When an employee who is a registered user of the Midlands Choice secured website leaves an organization or no longer requires access to the secured site, it is important that the person identified as the authorizing contact notify Midlands Choice immediately, rather than waiting for the annual audit of users. Doing so will ensure that patients’ PHI and other information is protected. The authorizing contact should email the name and email address of the user who no longer needs access to mcwebsecurity@midlandschoice.com.
