More than 85 percent of the claims that are repriced by Midlands Choice are submitted to us electronically. Because of the efficiencies of electronic processing, most of those claims are repriced and forwarded to the appropriate payer on the day they are received. 

When submitting claims electronically to Midlands Choice, be certain to check with your EDI clearinghouse to determine which payer ID to use.  The payer IDs used vary based on clearinghouse.

For Cigna, HealthPartners and Medica claims, contact these payers directly as claims are to be submitted to them rather than Midlands Choice.
