An issue has been discovered where Aetna has processed some electronically submitted claims as non-participating. This has occurred in some instances when the provider’s billing address is located outside of the Midlands Choice network area for Aetna members. The issue is to be corrected by mid-November, however, any claims that were processed incorrectly due to this issue may be corrected by calling Aetna’s Provider Service Center at 888-632-3862.
